Estrelando as atrizes Bella Thorne e Zendaya Coleman. o show conta a história das melhores amigas CeCe Jones e Rocky Blue, que decidem participar das audições para a escolha das dançarinas de fundo do programa de dança "No Ritmo, Chicago!" e acabam sendo aceitas. O show tambem mostra as aventuras delas e suas confusões no colégio.

Starring Bella Thorne and Zendaya Coleman, the show follows the adventures of CeCe Jones and Rocky Blue as they star as background dancers on a local show, "Shake It Up Chicago." It also chronicles their misadventures, and their troubles and rising social status at school.
